Peter Eckerline is a man who has dedicated his life to positively impacting those around him. After a successful 39-year career at Merrill Lynch, where he held prestigious titles such as Senior Consultant and Managing Director of the Eckerline Wealth Management Group, Pete retired and shifted his focus to philanthropy and volunteering.
The Eckerline Wealth Management Group, which Pete founded and led until his retirement, is a team of experts committed to helping clients achieve their financial goals. Pete's leadership led the team to provide top-notch wealth management services to individuals and families in the Midwest.
During his career, Pete earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation and was recognized multiple times as the top financial advisor in Minnesota by Barrons and other publications. He was also a member of the Pinnacle Club at Merrill Lynch.
Pete raised his family in Orono, Minnesota, and has three adult children, of whom he's very proud. Pete feels very blessed and tries to give back to organizations supporting people with as few opportunities as possible.
Aside from his career, Pete has been involved in various philanthropic endeavors, supporting organizations like Faiths Lodge, Pay it Forward, Abbott Northwestern Hospital Foundation, and the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund. He and his family have also supported causes in his hometown of Ladysmith, Wisconsin, and at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire, where he received his undergraduate and Masters degrees.
Pete enjoys playing golf, basketball, and pickleball when he's not busy with philanthropy. He also loves spending time outdoors and fishing and especially loves time with the family at the cabin or their home in Naples.
